Constellation Chart
The Crane
The constellation of Grus, the crane, is a minor autumnal one that is lying at the south of Fomalhaut, glittering in southern skies. The constellation can be seen in
very lower sky and it's hard to recognize. Originally, the Grus was a part of Pisces Austrina (Southern Fish) in northern neighbor, but in 17th century Bayer established the
constellation. On the other hand in ancient Egypt, the crane was symbol of celestial observation, so there is another view that the constellation of crane had already been created in that
time.
