Blank System Components file

System Component Files are use in Interstellar travel to record data on a planetary system such as Distance, Size, type of planet or moon. when making system component files there is a lot of good sources on the internet were you can get planetary images or you can be creative and make you own with a program like Paintshop Pro. I use paintshop on the Interstellar section all the time. To start your System Component File save the blank Component File above. then once you have done your map of a system and collected the planetary images open the blank system component file with paintshop along with your images then copy each image and paste it onto the blank system component and adjust the size like the one below

Now Label the new system component file with the star number and planet name if you know it if not label the planet first planet and so on till you have finished the whole system component for that map. You can do this in paintshop with a text box when you have finished it will like something like this.

Interstellar Cards

Interstellar cards are very simple to make all you need is a bussiness cards program. we use Business card designer plus Version 7 to make a interstellar card simply on the the program insert the image of the galaxy or planetary star on one side and then insert a text box on the over side of the card and insert your text remember to place the grand porthole symbol like the one below on the card i place this under the text box.

Then place another text box across the top this second text box is for your destination wheather it be a planetary system, Star system or Planetary Nebula. make sure the destination is clearly labeled on the card. When yo have finish with the program the interstellar card should look like this.

Remember to save the file as a save as graphic file then your read to place the card on your page. In the Constellation section of the site there are alot of cards already made up so if you use one of our interstellar cards save the file this technique would be used when making cards that are not in our site. I use google when looking for images and there are alot of good site with data on the internet.

To make them in word place an image on the word page as the background then place a text box over the image and paste the text into the text box. then right click on the text box and format the text box were you see fill click no fill. just like the image below. do the same with the line as well.

When you have finished with the Data file click on the little camera icon in paintshop and take a picture of the image and paste it into the paintshop program then crop the file and as it as you wish.
