Dalmatian Jasper
Dalmation jasper is a stone that lessens or removes disillusionment. It helps one to see their strengths and weaknesses, and encourages grounding both with the Earth and in reality. Dalmatian Jasper increases loyalty and is beneficial for long term relationships. It brings a sense of fun to one's life. Physically it can help purify the blood. It is a stone of protection from nightmares, depression, and negative thinking. It is also particularly beneficial for healing people who have trouble relaxing and having fun.

Danburite
Clear crystal. Powerfully radiates bright, pure, white light, filling our body, mind, and spirit (and relationships) with loving light. Excellent to cleanse, purify, or debrief. Fills Crown Chakra with joy and illumination. Brings truth, honesty, a smile to the heart and open receptivity to mind and spirit. Strengthens mind, nervous system, life force, awareness. Excellent healing tool.

Desert Rose
A gypsum. Lt. brown. Gently grounding; clarifies thinking and mental vision, perception. Quiets worry, brings out practicality. (Related to Selenite.) Quiets the mind. Used to access past/future lives, assists in bring material persuits related to business. Provides flexibility to one's nature, strengthens decisions, align the spinal column and removes energy blockage. Stabilizes epileptic disorders. Known to help new moms increase breast milk. 

Diamond
When considering the use of a Diamond for healing purposes, one must ignore its monetary value and concentrate upon the stone's unique relationship with energy. It is frequently combined with other gems or crystals. If used with an Aquamarine, a Diamond will increase the cleansing properties and mental soothing that Aquamarine helps to produce. If worn or carried alone, it will amplify the energy of the wearer. Unfortunately, this includes any negative energy the wearer might possess as well. Some literature contends that the blue light within the color spectrum of a Diamond is beneficial for glaucoma. Diamonds are beneficial to the brain and testicles. Some recommend it for diseases of the bladder but only in desperate cases. In all cases, the stone needs to touch the skin in order to increase its effectiveness. Emeralds and Amethyst Quartz are especially amplified by Diamonds. Powerfully absorbs and amplifies thoughts/attitudes of user, other gems, and wearer's strengths and weaknesses: Prosperity, generosity/ vs. miserly; love vs. distrust; overview, spirituality vs. lust, immediate gratification. Diaspor
Thin flattened crystal formation, color range includes white, greenish grey, brown or yellow. Great stone to carry for understanding true intent of people around you; clarity in communication. Excellent for dream recall -- sleep with it under the pillow. Good in meditation when you need answers to questions. Assist one in moving through changes, allowing for greater calmness.

Diopside/Enstatite
Clear, deep green. Deep healing and expansion of Heart center, love, commitment, trust humbleness, heart, lungs. A brown, green, or white stone found in Japan, Germany, Ireland, and the US. Diopside is found in similar colors and is mined in the USSR and India in addition to the countries already mentioned. These stones are mentioned together because they have identical properties. Clear, deep green. Deep healing and expansion of Heart center, love, commitment, trust humbleness, heart, lungs. Both benefit the circulatory system and cleansing organs. Mental clarity results from healing layouts that include Enstatite and/or Diopside. Diopside is recommended for public speakers, students, and surgeons.

Black Star Diopside
Black Star Diopside is a stone that is black-green to black. It is a very creative stone and can bring creativity to the bearer. It can also help with analysis and logic as an assistant to learning. It is also said to be related to love, commitement, and the inner heart. It is traditionally said to be helpful for healing trauma, partly by bringing cleansing tears. Sometimes it's even called the "crying stone" because of this. It can help get in touch with the feminine side, which can help heal aggression and stubbornness. Physically it's used to heal the heart, lungs, circulation, weakness, and psychological disorders.

Dioptase
Tiny deep blue-green silicate crystals. Its powerful green reaches deep into the Heart Chakra to release and heal sadness, heartache, abuse, neglect...Converts loss (recent/childhood) into self-love. Empowers heart with new depth, strength, healthiness, courage, ability to love deeply, unconditionally. Connects emotional heart with spiritual heart to receive abundance. Promotes genuineness, sincerity, emotional balance, self-worth, deep well-being. Central Nervous System, lungs, heart, blood pressure, stress. Can send healing deep into the earth.

Dolomite
Pink/pastel/milky to clear. Clear varieties, especially pink are used to softly open and heal Heart Chakra. Soothes hurt, loneliness, anxiety. Facilitates giving and receiving, generosity, spontaneity, creativity, energy uplift. Calcium content strengthens bones, teeth, muscles, woman's reproductive system; helps PMS.

Dravite
Strongly associated with healing and cleaning in the will (orange) chakra. Excellent for the legs as well, as the person lays on the back, place dravite on the stomach area. For hip problems, roll on either side and place the mineral on the hips. Minerals which work well in unison with dravite are "halo rock" (selenite) and jade. The selenite draws white healing light through the crown chakra and through the chakra chord. The jade can be placed on the heart chakra to ease tonal frequency updrafts and downdrafts while the selenite and dravite interact. (Acts on the 3rd chakra.) It is thought to allow one to activate one's aura by providing a path for cleansing and clearing; for protection for bringing peace by allowing a better connection with Mother Earth; inner peace; good for gastrointestinal problems. 

Dumortierite
Dumortierite (blue quartz) enhances organizational abilities, self-discipline and orderliness. This enhancement is believed to be due to the effect it can have of balancing the throat chakra and enhancing communication between lower chakras/physical energy and the higher chakras/mental/spiritual energy. It highly reduces difficulties of scattered mind and disorganization. In addition, it encourages one to see and accept reality, and react to it in an intelligent manner in one's own behalf.
